milk_shake® Mirror Moments Contest – Official Rules

Eligibility

The milk_shake® Mirror Moments Contest (“Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the Contiguous United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Beautynova Americas, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter

To enter the Contest, participants must:

  1. Create a custom milk_shake® gloss shade on a willing participant or client.

  2. Name the custom gloss shade.

  3. Capture the reveal moment (video or photo).

  4. Share the formula and reveal in a public Instagram post, tagging @MilkShakeHairPRO and using the hashtag #MilkshakeMirrorMoments in the caption.

Entries must be submitted via Instagram during the Contest Period and must comply with Instagram’s terms of use.

Contest Period

The Contest begins on a date to be announced and ends on August 3, 2025 at 11:59 PM (ET). Winners will be notified after the Contest closes.

Prizes

  • Grand Prize: One (1) winner will receive:

    • A $500 milk_shake® gift card for themselves.

    • A $500 milk_shake® gift card for their participating client.

    • A Trip to Hairtopia 2025 in Ibiza.

  • Runner-Up Prize: One (1) runner-up will receive:

    • A $1,000 milk_shake® gift card for themselves.

    • A $100 milk_shake® gift card for their participating client.

  • Honorable Mentions: Three (3) honorable mentions will each receive:

    • A $500 milk_shake® gift card for themselves.

    • A $50 milk_shake® gift card for their participating clients.

Gift cards will be delivered electronically to the email addresses provided by the winners. No prize substitution is permitted, except at the discretion of the Sponsor.

Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected by the milk_shake® professional team based on creativity and skill in showcasing “the gloss.” Winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram and must respond within 48 hours from August 3, 2025 to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this time frame may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

General Conditions

  • By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

  • Entries must be the original work of the entrant.

  • Entries that do not follow the entry requirements, or that are deemed inappropriate or not in keeping with the Sponsor’s image, will be disqualified.

  • The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, nor is Instagram associated with the Contest in any way. By entering, you release Instagram from any responsibility.

Limitation of Liability

Beautynova USA, Inc. is not responsible for:

  • Lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries.

  • Technical malfunctions, failures, or errors of any kind.

  • Any damages or losses resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of any prize.

  • Issues arising from third-party platforms or services used in connection with the Contest.

Privacy

All entrant information will be used solely for the purpose of Contest administration and will be handled in accordance with applicable data privacy laws. Entrants’ personal data will not be sold or shared with third parties outside of the Sponsor or its authorized agents.

Rights Reserved

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest at its discretion, and to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process or violates these terms.
