How to host a BYOB event in your salon

One of the best ways to get clients excited about new hair products is to show them exactly how to use them. And why not have a little fun while we are at it?? Hosting a B.Y.O.B. event in your salon is a fantastic way to engage your current clientele, attract new clients, increase retail sales and set yourself up for more profits in the future. Let’s break it down:

What is a B.Y.O.B. event?

BYOB: Bring Your Own Blow-dryer. These in-salon events are primarily focused on styling and can also be used to educate clients on their individual hair needs. A great way to introduce this is idea is to teach a skill that EVERY client wants to learn: how to create the perfect blowout.

The best thing about B.Y.OB. events is that they are highly customizable. If you don’t have the desire or bandwidth to coordinate a stand-alone event, you might want to consider B.Y.O.B. appointments instead. These little “mini-events” are a great way to include your assistants and get your clients in the mindset of booking in-between their regular touch ups.
