Lamination services refer to the process of applying a product that coats the hair strand, sealing in hydration. What is insta.light? 

Our newest in-salon service makes hair lamination simple and quick. It takes just 30-60 minutes—depending on your client's hair length. Insta.light can be performed as either a stand-alone or add-on service following a cut or color or even before a blowout. 

Insta.light is a 4-step service using a family of products designed to work together to coat and protect the hair.  

Step1: Wash with our insta.light shampoo. This shampoo is super creamy, and gentle. It has a dual-action—gently cleansing while also making hair stronger and easier to comb through.  

Step 2: After rinsing your client is to apply insta.lotion. Twist in into the hair, allow it to process for 5-10 seconds and then rinse. 

Step 3: Apply insta.potion —a creamy treatment that adheres to the hair and seals it. You can think of insta.potion as a “laminating fluid” that locks everything else in.  

Step 4: Apply milk_shake life-styling thermo protector spray to towel-dried hair, before styling. 

How long does hair lamination last? 

While the insta.light service lasts up to 3 washes, clients can prolong the effects at home by using insta.lotion. Since insta.lotion is an important part of the insta.light service, you can use that step to demo how to use it properly and recommend that your client takes one home.
