Technique: Touch & Blend / Reflection
FORMULA 1
milk_shake® smoothies semi_permanent color pearl 35g + silver 5g, milk_shake® smoothies activating emulsion 60g
FORMULA 2
milk_shake® direct color clear 35g + silver 10g + blue 5g + 5g

STEP 1
Part the hair centrally and transversally. Isolate and block the four separate sections under the crown area. Kea’s hair was pre-lightened prior to coloring.
STEP 2
Color the entire external section from roots to ends with formula 1. This formula neutralizes the slight warm tone of the pre-lightening and gives the hair a cool and vibrant tone.
STEP 3
Isolate the external section using z.one concept Color Stripes.
STEP 4
Start from the left-hand side and separate the first strand horizontally, then color the roots with formula 2.
STEP 5
Color using the same formula on the ends of the same strand and, using a brush, move upwards from the ends, blending the starting point.
STEP 6
Isolate with Color Stripes. Proceed with the application to the crown line. This technique is called “Reflection” and created color tones from roots to ends, creating depth and light in the hair.
STEP 7
Apply formula 2 on the roots of the inner section and with firm brush strokes, blend the ends.
STEP 8
Color lengths and ends from all the inner section using formula 1. This technique called éTouch & Blend”, creates depth and light at the roots, keeping mid-lengths and ends neutral.
STEP 9
Separate the first strand from the fringe area and color roots and ends using the “Reflection” technique.
STEP 10
Blend the color gently from the ends, keeping the brush vertical, and isolate the strand with Color Stripes.
STEP 11
Conclude with the fringe area, coloring the last two strand using the “Touch & Blend” technique.
STEP 12
These two application methods, “Reflection” in the inner area, and “Touch & Blend” in the external area, give a full shape to a new sophisticated and rebellious style.
